NUKING JUPITER?

I seem to remember a while back the rumor that the Galileo probe was loaded with plutonium and was a secret plot to crash it into Jupiter??? Could be totally wrong but I thought I read it before....Anyway check it out.
Galileo mission may end in a blaze of glory
February 21, 2000: PASADENA, California (AP) -- NASA is considering a spectacular finish for Galileo's mission to Jupiter: A suicide plunge into the gaseous planet or one of its moons.
Plutonium powered? See Sagan
Galileo also will be powered by radioactive plutonium. There is no alternative. To power Galileo by solar panels, the spacecraft would have to be as big as a house; to power it by batteries would add so much weight that the mission would never fly -- at least on any U.S. launch vehicle in existence or now under development. But plutonium can be deadly, and the Galileo RTG's have now begun to alarm many people."
MYSTERIOUS MESSAGE
You may not realize how right you are. However, brace yourself, the changes are only just beginning. Do not fear however, the "EXPERIMENT" as you call it is not over, it will continue. The only thing remaining to be seen is the way in which you humans handle the coming times. Look to Mars, and the red storm of Jupiter as well. You will be amazed at what you discover.
NOT ENOUGH GAS?
THE LUCIFER PROJECT
The agency in question disclosed certain controversial statements made by Russian astrophysicist Boris Rodionov to Moscow's Komsomolskaya Pravda, in which he claimed to have proof of the existence of "a highly developed extraterrestrial civilization on one of the satellites of the planet Jupiter.

The critical mass for U 235 is 50kg, for Pu 239 it is 16kg. However Cassini (33kg) and Galileo (16kg?, don't know) do have Pu 238 on board which has no critical mass. However, you can produce "critical" U from normal with neutron radiation. Maybe, you can also get "critical" Pu 239 from Pu 238 by radiating it? With Pu 239 there would be enough mass as it only needs 16kg! What radiation do we have around Jupiter? I hope not neutrons!
