I see a lot of really creative usernames but I don't know what many of them mean. Does anyone care to ellaborate on their username? Mine may seem like a bunch of letters but it is from a movie. Anybody got a clue? SLF:JAQ SFDJS

No clue, but the first part of my name is from Kaiulani, a princess of Hawai'i who was like a real life Padme Amidala, and Yeves is from Jacques Yeves-Cousteau, the ocean explorer. Together with my avatar of the Pale Blue Dot, they remind me to do bold and extrodinary good things.
Was your avatar the Whirlpool Galaxy?
I see KaiYeves. Nice username. Not from the Whirlpool Galaxy. Mine is from a Sci-Fi movie.
Yes , it's from the Whirlpool galaxy .

My username is widely considered to be the founder/father of my profession.
No, I'm not an 'alchemist'.![]()
Mine's so ugh ugly it's perhaps a code for the CIA, MOSSAD,KGB, MI5, or some other real ugly character....
My username is in no way, shape, or form associated with anything to do with BYU.
I do like cats, though. And dogs, for that matter.

Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.
Swift, as in Jonathan Swift, with whom I share a first name and a love for satire. It was a nickname I picked up in high school because of my fondness for his works and I have used it as an electronic ID (user name, Nom-de-Net) since about 1982.

Until he was killed by Hermes, the trickster god. Where did you think my name came from?Mine is borrowed from the Greek monster Argos Panoptes [the one who sees everything]. I think it is adequate for a knowledge seeker.
Actually, I thought it was like 'KY eves'.
I hate to play the know-it-all, but I think the name of the French explorer was Yves.
Cheers.
And it was Jacques-Yves Cousteau, not Jacques Yves-Cousteau
I was a charter member of the Cousteau society, over thirty years ago
My username is a really bad epithet in Tibetan. Means Eater of Father's Flesh.
I added the extra "e" to help with pronunciation.I hate to play the know-it-all, but I think the name of the French explorer was Yves
they did not let me to explain mine![]()
Well....
Please....
IS self -explanatory , but do you have another meaning why you chose that name?
Your username is not the only thing you have to explain. *does something between clearing throat and coughing*
Mine consists of three words. "The" means there can only be one, such as "the Iraq" *. "Radiation Specialist" has to do with a cool job one can have. Overall, it means nothing, as I am not really a specialist in the field of radiation.

Neverfly is a state of mind. Many years ago when I first started writing to confront the pain inside, the Neverfly was like a "place" inside my head or heart.
I consider it my ultimate home to which I'm traveling, my sanctuary, my reality check.
To dream, daydream, fantasize, delude yourself, etc is to "fly."
By flying you are abandoning the ground in order to get high above the real, cold, hard Earth. Doing circles and loops and frolicking. Not paying attention to the reality of Earth but soaring amoung the clouds.
To "neverfly" is to keep your feet on the ground and set out on the journey. To keep your path and to even forge your path when none exists. It is to keep reality close when all you want to do is fly away from it. It is to accept that your feet have a path to walk even though they are tired and sore.
You cannot "fly over" the struggles and obstacles in life. You cannot skip over the sharp stones that will bruise your feet as we walk this path of Life. But you can take steady determined steps- one step after another- until you reach your destination.
Those who walk the path of life will reach their destination (slowly but surely) while the flyers get caught in their own trap, soaring and sailing amoung the clouds forgetting that they had a path or destination to reach.
*This is an analogy and there is a time and place that is proper for dreaming. But in the end we must all face and confront reality. The Neverly is like my signature. It is on personal documents, it is on my phone, it is one of my email addresses, it is long associated with me. It is never used as a password though, so don't get any ideas
ETA: I should clarify- The Neverfly is a goal that I am trying to reach.
Sir, that was beautiful.

Can I punch this guy?
Will the Mods take off their badge a moment and stare idly at a wall whistlin' dixie?
*takes out his AirScooter and hops in shouting*
HAHA... you can run but you can never fly
Hey young guy...
Neverfly is not joking when he posted that.
It's who he is .
