Talking Keeping Mainstream in Mainstream !

This post : An answer from korjik to banned Bobbygene in the Conservation of Energy thread give me the idea of a new rule : Keep Mainstream in Mainstream !!!

If the universe runs from t=0 to t=n then physics only applies from t>0 to t<n.

Physics only applies after the universe starts and before the universe ends. Therefor there is no violation of energy conservation. We cant say what happens at the instant of beginning or the instant of ending.
Some people here can't suffer any ATM out of ATM and even ATM in ATM is too much for them , but what about the reverse , the suffering of ATM folk having to endure those mainstream ideas in the ATM corner ?

Too bad for them. BAUT is a mainstream forum. Maybe they'd be happier at GLP. Ha.

You've got something reasonable to advocate in this topic, here in ATM? Or, is it just a joke? If that's all you've got, we probably belong in About BAUT.

Hmmmm....I read that last thread that led to BobbyGene's banning. I don't understand why he suddenly blew his stack and started swearing. Did he really think that people here would greet his, um, different ideas about energy conservation with, "Wow! You're a genius--a new Einstein! We've got your Nobel Prize waiting for you."?

I've never felt the need to peruse the ATM forum up until now, but I am re-thinking that perspective. I'm seem to be missing out on a lot of entertainment!

The wheat/chaff ratio makes it... accenting the positive, high in fiber.

But, sometimes the tragicomedy makes up for it.

It's also worth noting that I'm not even sure he was directing it at me. He aims his rant at "Moderator", but quotes someone else entirely...

Mainstream ideas are mainstream because they are consistent with observation and they are rational. ATM ideas just have to adhere to the same standards.
Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.

Of course. I agree with that.

My OP is a joke directed at some mainstream defenders.

Is it enough to fight an ATM idea , to be mainstream ? This giving you the license to say anything to get the last word ? To ask any silly question to embarrass your oponent ?

So yes some some mainstream should be better to stay in Mainstream.

No. Sibrel routinely gets debunked by Hoagland. In doing so, however, he is promoting his own wildly ATM idea. Just because you can successfully rebut an ATM idea doesn't mean your idea is any better.

    Not(A) -> B is not a valid logical argument.

No. You have to pass the official BAUT Mainstreamer test to get the last-word license. The next one will be held September 21. In the most rigorous section, you will be required to balance an egg on end. Open book. Apply soon!

    That's a silly question.

Wait... did you just embarrass me? Oh my! The shame.

I consider myself the ATM equvalent to the ATMer in the Q&A section. I keep hijacking threads to promote my mainstream ideas. Very naughty of me. I am just glad it is not a banning offence.

About your post I quoted in my OP , IMO , it is mainstream mainly because it comes from a mainstreamer ! Is it not what they call a sophism ?

It may actuall be more of an ATM idea of my own than anything else, but it isnt intended as a sophism. It is based on the fact that when time has a discontinuity the differential element dt is undefined, leaving alot of undefined laws of physics.
