Here is a photo of the full eclipse. Just as the Moon went total eclipse It droped into a fog bank. This is a 20 sec photo taken with my sony cybershot with a 40 mm lens, mounted on the orange celestron c-8.

My attempts at photographing it were limited to trying to hold the camera steady while i peered through the view finder. The results were little more than blurry blobs.

What kind of cybershot was this? I used a very similar setup, practically identical - Sony Cybershot DSC-F828 attached to a 40mm Maxview eyepiece on a meade 8" SCT. I think you got a sharper result than I did though, I bumped my focus out during shooting and didn't realize what I had done until later (doh!).

Thanks. The only touch up that I did to this photo was, I ran it through noiseware. Hey NGC hunter. My sony cybershot is the 7.2 DSC-W7 model.
