    Smile The movie "Sunshone"

For fun, what are that scientific faults (or strengths) of the movie "Sunshine" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0448134/)? For example, the jump through space unprotected seemed realistic but the whole premise of the sun going dim and getting restarted....

Outside of Questions and Answers, see Small-Media topic Sunshine: The Movie

There, find a list of other threads about Sunshine, reproduced here:

Also, there is, for some reason, this still slightly more recent topic: Bad Astronomy ALert: Movie "Sunshine"

(Edit: Oh, yeah, there is post-premiere topic: So who has seen Sunshine?)

I think that's about enough sunshine in anyone's life.

Are there specific technical questions about space or astronomy that the movie brings to mind, more suitable to the Q&A Forum?
