If you were to travel through space alongside a photon, what music should play?

I think Einstein said something about imagining traveling alongside a photon.
But what music would you choose to go with this?

    I think perhaps Tubular Bells

That's a trick question, isn't it? The answer is Gyorgyi Ligeti, of course.

I'd be too busy shouting "Commence ludicrous speed!" to hear any music

I'm tempted to suggest something by the Electric Light Orchestra, or maybe Einstein-A-Gogo.

But seriously (or semi seriously!), I would have to consider the effects of time dilation on my musical experience, and thus go for a track that came to a peak just as I reached c itself, whereupon I would stop experiencing time for the duration I was travelling at c. As I began to (somehow) slow down again, the music would continue from the crescendo! I would have to have the best part just after I had travelled at c if I can't have it during...

Hmmmm... what track to pick? Let's see... I'm thinking majestic but awesomely heavy.... why am I thinking of a scene in a car from Wayne's World all of a sudden?

"Mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go.
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me,for me,for me...."

4' 33" by John Cage. The abridged version, naturally.

Only problem is if you did ride along with the photon, no proper time would pass. You'd arrive instantaneously without any elapsed time to listen to anything.

So it doesn't really matter what you choose then

That was the point of my suggestion. For those who don't know, and didn't read the link, 4'33" is a piece of modern(ish) music consisting of four minutes and thirty three seconds of silence.

The abridged second version is zero seconds of silence; 0′00″, Cage called it. That is the only music one would hear travelling alongside a photon.

I've always imagined a gushing roar kinda sound, no music. Maybe I just have no imagination

So maybe we would want Chicago's "Does anyone really know what time it is (does anyone really care)?"
