I wear sandals a lot, so I'm good. I would think the penny would stain your socks too.

You know, the best laundry hint I ever got was to put a half cup of baking soda in the wash; baking soda is great for getting the stink out of workout clothes, etc. I have yet to try the anti-bacterial sportswear.

They're intended for one-day use only, so not very.

IIRC, they're mostly intended for businessmen who come home late/early after a bender and a stripper. Which many do.

The replicated clothes on TNG had no price tag, so they could be of any quality or material. Want a tailored silk suit? Or gold-plated High Gothic plate armor? Presto, it's there.
And you didn't even have to say "I wish".
