You've got to love it!!! An object much smaller than the Sun and supposedly farther than the Sun is causing Earthquakes. Hmmm. Why don't we experience earthquakes every high noon?

Can these people be any more pathetic?

IF you notice Norway is listed twice. and the picture listings show the top row as the 3rd and the bottom row as the 4th. hmmm.. not very global now is it?

Plus has she ever heard that quakes do travel throught the earth? A quake in California will register on seismonitors in China, Norway, and prety much every other place with one (barring a few places due to the refraction and shadow effect of the different layers of the planet). It won't be felt there, but they will register it.

    Minor Global Quakes
MINOR global quakes? I assume by global quake she means an earthquake that is felt all over the world.
Firstly that would not be MINOR.
Secondly, WHY DIDN'T I FEEL IT?
Thirdly, why did nobody else feel it?

    Have they stopped trying?

I could, but of course the Govt. will stop all mail and blockade the highways due to PX coming.

So it might not get to you. Safer to eat it with my girlfriend to make sure it stays out of those evil govt. hands. :-)

Archer: don't worry. Just follow a recipe book. They are very hard to mess up. Then tell your significant other you slaved all day over it and throw some flower on your shirt to proove it (make sure what you are cooking contains flower of course). They will be putty in your arms.

I have always said, food is the fastest way to someone heart. (Especially if it is filled with cholestorol)

The top two say the 3rd, but the bottom two say the 4th.

The first two record an event happening at about 1:00 UT on the 4th, when it is still the 3rd, in the United States.

But the other two graphs show a later time, when it was the 4th for us.

    best,

I *think* that the hawaii seismo is somewhere around Kileua, which has been erupting for decades now. They get earthquakes daily there that are for the most part unfelt. Sheesh.

And even if it's not the volcano seismo, Hawaii still gets earthquakes extremely often.

"Bobbling", that must be a new scientific term.
