Yesterday was mild and the snow was melting on the to work and during the night it cooled down down to about freezing so there was I nice thin sheet of ice and water and on the way home going down a hill I hit a peice of black ice (black because you can not tell the difference between the ice and the road) and ended up in the ditch. I actually drove in the middle of the field then really got stuck, had go to pay phone at a nearby gas station to get a tow truck to get me out. The only thing wrong with the jeep now is the drivers side doors a little whack making it harder to get in and of it, but it could of be worse and was for another driver who completely totaled their vechicle on a nearby road. All that happened to me was I was shaking up and my wallet got a little lighter, and more likely get lighter by the and of week for the repairs but all and all I was lucky.
