That image should give the Sinai some rest.

Well, not really, but you did get a beautiful view of Colorado.
P.S. Sorry, GoW, I see that North Carolina is covered with clouds.

That's OK, Wyoming was my home. I can see my treehouse.

Hmmm! New wallpaper for my computer! Sorry, moonrise over Seattle, the Blue Marble is just too spectacular to pass up. Thanks from me also, ToSeek.

Absolutely gorgeous! I'm glad I decided to check out some older posts! I immediately had to include it in my wallpaper changer collection. Check out the larger hi-res version or even the TIF file if you want even more detail.
You did realize of course that there's also an eastern hemisphere view?
Great pictures, guys. Thanks much.
I don't see any physical boundaries between any "nations", do any of you? Wonder what do we fight about all the time.
I have thought about it many times, whenever I look at a picture of Earth like this, and every single time I just cannot stop thinking how fragile the world is and we are destroying it slowly, piece by piece. We fight for some crap.
This brings to my memory the opening scene in the movie "Contact" when the camera starts moving away from us towards the edge of our Solar System and life so unique to our known universe looks so delicate.
I hope we de a better job in the near future in preserving this "gift" of nature.
Sorry, I didn't want to sound too philosophical. Just that man made wars don't make any sense to me at all. Neither does man made religion (which happens to be a cause of great many wars) - and wonder whether man made God or God made man.
