What if you were able to travel the speed of light:
In this scenario let's say that you will leave Earth and travel to planet X which is 10 light years away. So, it will take you 10 years to reach planet X, traveling the speed of light.
Along the way you decide to mark planet Y which is on the way, about 9 light years from Earth. This takes no time at all and your jorney continues without any stops at all (the ship was programmed to do this).
When you arive on planet X, my question is, would you be able to look up at the stars (space) in the direction you were traveling and look near plant Y which would be 1 light year away and see yourself marking the planet? And furthermore, would you be able to see yourself traveling closer and closer towards the planet, since in theory you are really just seeing light that has taken X amount of time (a year) to reach your eyes, etc.
If true, would you be creating a parallel version of yourself? I dunno I just started thinking about all this and thot it was kinda crazy. Thx for your input.

), so there wouldn't be that much thinking going on anyway. pete
