I mean, rotation IS evil. It brings day and night (and night brings crime) and people feel sick when rotated too much. Rotation brings up all kind of silly forces and effects. Here comes the centrifugal "force", that actually doesn't exists. And the Coriolis effect. I mean, hey, Coriolis! That was a FRENCH guy! See the pattern? The world would be a much safer place - and physics much more simple - without rotation. Let's get rid of these non-inertial frames of reference!

Okay, I loathe Bush because he is destroying our civil liberties, but come ON! That is by far the stupidest thing she has ever said, and that in itself is a major accomplishment.
If the earth rotation slowed down, we'd have an "extra daylight tax". And extra daylight fees. Terrorists are not that clear-thinking.
