What DVD's did you get for Christmas?

    I got Avatar: Season 1 (non-Chinatown version)

Dr Who Season 1 and 2 (completely legal I assure you )

Battlestar Galactica Season 1 and 2 (Chinatown special)

I also borrowed a DVD by a comedian by the name of Russel Peters.. hilarious!
If you get a chance to see this then do so...he's really funny (and a Canuck!)

Re: What DVD's did you get for Christmas?

    None.

    But I gave quite few.

    Mostly weird stuff like

Mahler's Third: What the Universe Tells Me

    The Complete Futurama Edition

    and other inconsequential stuff.

Of course, these are all Blue-Ray obsolete...

    The Lost Boys

    Animaniacs 2nd Season

Cats the Broadway Musical (Combined American / British production groups)

All three pretty nice scores for me.

The Lost Boys was actually a bit funny since it was recent 2 disc special edition. In order to make it, they pulled in the cast and some production people 20 years later for interviews. Wow ... it was crazy seeing everybody that much older and how they have changed.

    That "Pirates" movie.

We live some 30 mins east of Owensboro, KY, birthplace of Johnny Depp.
My wife and oldest daughter have some strange fixation on the guy.

Where the telescope ends, the microscope begins. Which of the two has the greater view?

Kiefer was but a young pup when that was originally released. Kinda his first real notable big screen appearance that I can remember.
