Here you can leave a crazy headline and it's link.
First one:
Leahy wants FBI to help corrupt Iraqi police force
Er, shouldn't that be "de-corrupt" the Iraqi police force?

Hmmm...is mugaliens a sockpuppet of Jay Leno?! LoL anyway I love these sorta things. But I'm headed home now; tomorrow I'll start my search for fun english-language mix-ups in the news![]()
I'm dissapionted no one else has posted anything. Well, I found this site that has some good headlines, but there's no sources or articles to back them up so cannot be sure of thier authenticity. Funny Headlines.
Thought this one in particular was good, considering this is BAUT:
yes, you heard me, another "Uranus" joke.Is there a ring of debris around Uranus?
Ah, what the hey, I'll add some more for those of you who are like me and don't like to go to the links:
Sometimes newspaper editors state the obvious
* If strike isn't settled quickly it may last a while
* War dims hope for peace
* Smokers are productive, but death cuts efficiency
* Cold wave linked to temperatures
* Child's death ruins couple's holiday
* Blind woman gets new kidney from dad she hasn't seen in years
* Man is fatally slain
* Something went wrong in jet crash, experts say
* Death causes loneliness, feeling of isolation
Here's one from today's paper:
Man Kills 6,
Termed Irrational

My favourite one, and only a Brit with knowledge of a certain tabloid will get this, came from the Church of England Newspaper. It was during the reign of the last Archbishop of Canterbury, George Cary.
It was actually a headline on the front page advertising an article in the paper.
It was
Mrs Carey "I'm where God wants me to be"
Page 3
![]()
![]()
I'm where God wants me to be.
Not exactly front-page news![]()
It was the juxterposition of the "page 3" subheading
In a certain tabloid they put pictures of topless women on page 3
It was a combination of headlines that slipped passed the sub-editors
Thanks.
I think that's the first joke 'explained' that I still had a good laugh over![]()
