Every Tuesday down the works canteen the *&$%@ gravy has large, grey lumps in it, during the rest of the week its smooth as a virgins inner thigh. i have come to believe this is a sinister conspiracy, being perpetratored by the Illuminatti,freemasons, lizzard creatures and the British Crown. Its purpose? to early to say, but rest assured, I will keep you all up to date. Mark my words, it will be lumpy mashed potatoes next...

Maybe the gravy is made fresh (and lumpy) on Tuesday, then simply reblended (removing the lumps) and served again Wed, Thu, Fri.

It's hard to take you seriously, David. One thing that could help is to start a new thread for your new topic and not hijack someone else's.

I'll let you folks know on Friday if I have contributed to the "Lumpy Gravy" conspiracy (though I assure you my lumps are only flour or giblets, not cocaine).
By the way, I heard a cooking tip to dissolve the flour in wine instead of water, your gravy is less lumpy that way. That's the way us Truthers fight the evil lumpers!

It's the bit where you chaps down south have to give us a bit more cash from the Treasury to cover:
1. The additional cost of infrastructure and services in Scotland
2. Make up for all these cash-eating MoD and government establsihments concentrated in England, particularly the southeast.
3. Stop us noticing how much was creamed off the oil taxes (ohh, controversial).
