Checked the FAQ, but nothing seen on phrases. Tried the ggogle method of enclosing with quotation marks, to no avail. Specifically, trying to see if BAUT has mentioned the IMAX movie "Roving Mars". Can our search engine handle it?

Yes, thanks---but can BAUT's search feature handle phrases?
Yes.
Actually, I don't think it searches for phrases but for keywords - if you enter "roving Mars", it will find posts with "roving" and "Mars", whether they're together or not.
Everything I need to know I learned through Googling.
It handles phrases, but it does so as individual words.![]()

Okay---looks like Frog march's suggestion for phrase-searching rules!Hee-hee: Capital One
This should be a "sticky", IMO. I have tried numerous ways to get a phrase search accomplished, but no luck.
Frog March seems to have given us the best answer.

Odd, it works for me.
Apparently there is a difference with the UK version of google.
Usually what I do is just put "Bautforum" as a word in the search rather than a site. Some unrelated stuff does show up, but by using the "more results from" gets me to the appropriate syntax for a site only search.
The syntax for a site search is not second nature to me, so this is faster for me.
I am trading off extra typing and syntax for an extra click, and possible extra second or to to identify the result being from baut.
