    The artwork for their Space Elevator article could have used some peer review. It show the elevator apparently terminating in the Pacific off of Baja California, a couple thousand miles north of the equator. Still, fun stuff.

    If you wanted to be really picky, one could point out that it might be possible to build an elevator like that, but currently even a very simple one seems very, very, very tricky.

    (So do the rocketry devotees continuously bicker with the space elevator devotees?)
