    Does the new IAU planet definition really state 'Sun' in the definition?

    That would seem a bit stupid, what about the new planets around other stars?

    Yes, the Resolutions do include the Sun, not Star. However the Resolution does state that the definition is for all purposes to be used for the Solar System. Here's the link: http://www.iau2006.org/mirror/www.ia...603/index.html
