I think she may have a nervous breakdown. After listening to her Friday night, I got the impression that she really does believe in it. I think she might be schizophrenic or have multiple personality disorder. Either she'll realize it is not there and go even more crazy or she'll insist it really is and that all the catastrophes did happen.

THe Zetas will say that even though they have violated the prime directive, realizing that we earthlings are a race with much promise, they have decided to accept the wrath of the Cosmic Overlords (you know, they are like the 'Q') and use their knowledge of Planet Displacement via something like a Tractor Beam to plumment Planet X into a worm hole never to be a threat to mankind again. Praise Zeta, Praise Zeta. hee hee.

There have been a few times on Zetatalk where people press her a bit too closely, and she lashes out. I think she'll go into a state of high dudgeon, and act intensely insulted that she bears any responsibility at all in the matter. I mean, it's not her fault that anyone believed her, right?
She's going to be ducking and dodging, juking and jiving like a wide receiver doing the downfield boogaloo trying to get away from everybody. I hope she's got an alternate identity and a safe house set up, because sad as it sounds, there's the distinct possibility of someone even more nutso looking for her. When they meet, it won't be pretty.

When nothing happens she will act very surprised and dismayed and will say that she
has no idea why it did not happen. She also may claim that the zetas have broken off
contact or are not willing to expain why it did not happen.

I don't think she will vanish. She seems to have a few new-age wackos who will
follow her even if it does not happen. I think she will respond to the abuse from the
rest over it not happening by saying that she was just passing on info from the
zetas and was as suprised as anyone when it didn't happen. I don't think she
will have any convoluted explanation, just that she does not know what happened
and that the zetas are not talking, or not saying why it didn't happen.

Nancy will NOT go away.
The reason is, and the reason for this whole ZT nonsense, is to feed Nancy's ego. Quite simply he has a messiah complex (delusions of grandeur) that must be fed.
She has set herself up in the classic christ-figure role. Only SHE is special enough to hear directly from god (the zetans) and only through beefing up Nancy's ego can you be saved. I'm surprised she hasn't claimed to BE A ZETAN yet. That daughter of god type of thing, you know.
Anyone that questions her is labelled a heretic (in this case a "Disinfo Agent") and she sics her pack of braindead lackeys to attack them. So far it's just 'net nonsense, but I have no doubt that face to face, her Praetorian Guard would resort to violence to appease their messiah.
I don't see this ZT thing as a money scam (although I'm sure it doesn't hurt....) as much as one mentally ill individual with the mass exposure of the web to reach out to the incredibly weak-minded to prop up Nancy's ego issues.
I'm not a psychologist, but this seems like basic psych 101 to me. Nancy has created this entire reality to make herself special on the level of great prophets from other mythologies. The net just pointed her towards people too stupid (or mentally ill themselves) to know any better. I'm sure there are alot of others like her out there, but since they don't try to dazzle the uninitiated with astronomy, we don't hear about them here.
