If you're going to call her the Queen of Grammar, you'd better make darned sure to spell it correctly!
Everything I need to know I learned through Googling.

Hey, around here, I'm never going to be the science whiz; I'll settle for Queen of Grammar (provided, yes, that you spell it correctly).

Sorry, the IT police won't let me install ieSpell at work, for fear that it would cause the downfall of the entire corporation.

Boy, I just try to cheer up Gillian with less than 5000 posts and what do I get, the back of everyone's hand. Don't worry about me, you kids go have some fun, I'll be ok.... no, no, really, its fine, I don't mind.

Would this be a bad time to point out that you mean "fewer"?

Last I heard, that symbol is "less than" not "fewer".

*tsk* Posts are discrete units, unless you can show me a reasonable interpretation of .5 posts.

    Fewer integers; less floats.

That was still a whole post, otherwise the forum wouldn't have accepted it. It's a dichotomy- post or no post. Boy, I love nitpciking.

You know, some people around here get all snippy if you nitpick. I'm just glad antoniseb hasn't banned us all for doing it in his thread.

Looks as though rahuldandekar's downfall might be through nitpicking. Poor person, such a Sannyasi experience as a humiliating disgrace at the hands of the omniscient board mods. Oh well, such is the fate of mortals in this this age of Kali, sudras be all of us.

Hahaha, Maksutov, I can see you winking through your avatar .

My downfall might be nitpicking, yours might be saying obscure Indian philosophy things on a forum where 99% won't understand them.

I pray to the omniscient board gods... er... mods to forgive all my unforgivable sins, and grant me a license to nitpick anywhere and everywhere on the board.

You know, I really think you can see the seeds of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert in that outfit.

    *SNARFS DRINK*

Gillian! What an awful thing to say about General Zod! (Even if it is sort of true.) Zod was (briefly) one of the galaxy's most powerful supervillians.

Let's see a bunch of pansy crossdressers take over the world.

All three stars were chosen because, in their other work, they had such macho personas. Being a huge fan of that movie makes it kind of hard to take the LOTR movies or the Matrix movies seriously--not that I think I could anyway. Oh, well.

Have you seen this, yet? Zod, 2008 Presidential Candidate

When I first came to your planet and demanded your homes, property and very lives, I didn't know you were already doing so, willingly, with your own government. I can win no tribute from a bankrupted nation populated by feeble flag-waving plebians. In 2008 I shall restore your dignity and make you servants worthy of my rule. This new government shall become a tool of my oppression. Instead of hidden agendas and waffling policies, I offer you direct candor and brutal certainty. I only ask for your tribute, your lives, and your vote.

Erm, I meant Priscilla; the only Superman movie I think I've even seen in the last decade is the new one. However, General Zod and Bernadette have the same problem with becoming US President: neither are native-born.
