Over half way to ToSeek.

Thanks to all. I don't know how many banned members preceded me to the ten thousand mark, but the number isn't large. As to being over half-way to ToSeek, it only takes a couple days of not posting and I'm less than half-way again. That guy shares more information than *anyone*.Originally Posted by Swift
None-the-less, I would not have made one (let alone ten) thousand posts if this weren't such a pleasant place to converse. For this especially, thanks to all.

Congrats, antoniseb! We need to throw a party on the big day!
It will probably be tonight. I bet it will be a hidden post reporting action taken against spam.

Well at least we know (now) that you won't break the board (or end the universe), Antoniseb. We'd been taking bets when ToSeek made his run last year. (Next "big scary" milestone, 2^7 posts.)
And I'm finally within 100 posts of kilopi.
And as of now, Antoniseb has 10,000 posts exactly! Excessive jubilation will be allowed during the next five minutes.
Oh, and I've just passed kilopi, I notice![]()
A milestone indeed, Antoniseb!
Thank you for your participation and sharing so much with BAUTers
Congratulation Antoniseb, for 10000postings. I was calculating the approximate time of how you have accomplish 10000postings in how much time, but I am unanswered yet.
I was just calculating it on the calculator but could not fetch the conclusion, that how much time was totally consume for posting and the speed of typing words.
I am looking forward some another 10000postings this year.
see the postings calculator.
Again congratulation.

Have to say, antoniseb has certainly been motoring along.Originally Posted by suntrack2

ToSeek clocks in at 10.75 posts per day since joining way back in 2001.
So, at current rates, by the end of next year these guys will be roughly neck and neck in their battle for BAUT supremacy!
Yep, related news shows Fraser within a week of clinching a 9000 post milestone.
Interestingly, the other administrator of the board is at almost exactly half the level of posts as Fraser.
Currently
Fraser 8961
The BA 4477 x2=(8954)
Exactly 10000 as I write this... congrats!
Thanks for moderating and helping us always.![]()
I had five to six thousand posts when I joined. I was part of the UT team, but my join date shows the merger date. I'm pretty sure that I won't be catching up with ToSeek ever. He is a very consistant contributer.Originally Posted by jkmccrann

I remember when that was a big deal. Now it doesn't even get you on the first page if you list members by post count.Originally Posted by Fram

Fraser has the advantage of all those automatically generated posts from Universe Today stories.Originally Posted by jkmccrann

You can't judge by averages - the forum is a lot more active than it was in 2001. Ten posts a day back then would have been a sizeable chunk of all the posts. Now it's not even noticeable.Originally Posted by jkmccrann

Anyway, Congradulations!!
I need a kilopi and a bit to go! and my about 2 kilopies has already tacken 2 years!
Pehaps a year? Seems like ages to me, and I post less now I think...
That makes sense, because I joined about the time of the merge and I thought you were already a fairly prominent poster, but when I checked this afternoon I really couldn't go against what the stats told me!Originally Posted by antoniseb
As for catching ToSeek, well, you may be right, but I have a feeling this board has a few years to run yet - so if you don't catch ToSeek, maybe someone else will?
Not gonna happen....Originally Posted by jkmccrann

One off, I've made as many as 250post in a 24hour period here...
I've only got like 7 a day on average though...
That's because I was inactive for a few months after I first joined. And for about 3 weeks time because of the move, a family reunion, and Internet problems. It will be over 24 tomorrow night, probably 25 the next day exc...Originally Posted by mickal555

I think toseek are also did a marvelous achievement in bringing the topics and its replies generated manually. Congrats To Toseek also. 18000+ are on their name. its amazing. (they are really intelligent personality).

Hey, I'm closing in on 5000. That's worth something, right? (Sniff, sniff.) Especially for someone who hardly ever starts threads, right? (Sniff, sniff.)
