Thanks to all. I don't know how many banned members preceded me to the ten thousand mark, but the number isn't large. As to being over half-way to ToSeek, it only takes a couple days of not posting and I'm less than half-way again. That guy shares more information than *anyone*.

None-the-less, I would not have made one (let alone ten) thousand posts if this weren't such a pleasant place to converse. For this especially, thanks to all.

I was just calculating it on the calculator but could not fetch the conclusion, that how much time was totally consume for posting and the speed of typing words.

I am looking forward some another 10000postings this year.

ToSeek clocks in at 10.75 posts per day since joining way back in 2001.

So, at current rates, by the end of next year these guys will be roughly neck and neck in their battle for BAUT supremacy!

I had five to six thousand posts when I joined. I was part of the UT team, but my join date shows the merger date. I'm pretty sure that I won't be catching up with ToSeek ever. He is a very consistant contributer.

That makes sense, because I joined about the time of the merge and I thought you were already a fairly prominent poster, but when I checked this afternoon I really couldn't go against what the stats told me!

As for catching ToSeek, well, you may be right, but I have a feeling this board has a few years to run yet - so if you don't catch ToSeek, maybe someone else will?

You can't judge by averages - the forum is a lot more active than it was in 2001. Ten posts a day back then would have been a sizeable chunk of all the posts. Now it's not even noticeable.
