    Busted!

The avatar is: Simon Jones as Arthur Dent, from the old BBC version of Hitchhikkers Guide to the Galaxy.

He would have his towel but has probably dropped it, even though its such a dangerous universe without having one handy, because he has just discovered that there is a terrible lack of tea in the universe!

It's scarcely worth going on after that horrific revelation, isn't it?

    I thought the same.

It might be instructive to have a thread where each poster's actual photo is displayed adjacent to their avatar. Very instructive, it would seem.

In my case the avatar is very close to reality, except that my left eye is not in such good condition.

My wife thinks I should replace my Spock icon with the alternate-universe Spock because I have a similar moustache and goatee.

WKirk: What about it, Spock? A man must also have the power. In my cabin...is a device that will make you invincible.
    AUSpock: Indeed?
WKirk: What will it be? Past or future? Tyranny or freedom? It's up to you.
    AUSpock: It is time.
WKirk: In every revolution, there's one man with a vision.
AUSpock: Captain Kirk, I shall consider it.

AUSpock: (after finding the device in WKirk's cabin) Man, I send that wuss captain back to his own universe and all I get is this lousy shaver. Wait, there's an ear hair trimmer attachment. Very logical.

Now I'm tempted to post a picture of myself, just to see the result.

Hello montebianco it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?

Btw what is the time limit for this message again? It strikes me that anything less than a month would be irksome if I were not a regular poster.
