    Hollow Earth Theory

I participate at another bulletin board where the hollow earth theory has come up.

The hollow earth theory lends to scientific credibility.
    Then a bit later.

This is interesting. I just posted a few sites with info about "no hollow earth/ bodies" anomolies, showing that it has problems, and somehow there are still comments like that. There were links to many other sites. There are many books--not from 1752, but very recent ones (2006 even?). Read the articles, read the articles. It's in there. There is seismic anomoly (among other), and hollow earth solves it.

Please, which evidence "against" the hollow earth theory are you quoting?
And what evidence "for" it do you dispute?

    Here's some "seismic evidence":

And do you think if the USA ever found it, they would tell everyone?
What are your thoughts? Talk amongst yourselves.

Hollow Earth is definitely not a mainstream idea. The difficulty here is that there would need to be someone willing to defend the idea for this thread to be useful. There's little point in us debunking something without someone to point out any misconceptions we might have.

I'd prefer to spend my time on more reasoned topics like perhaps TeVeS.

I'd be willing to discuss a hollow universe but not a hollow Earth.

So what do you think, mathyou9? Do you have any reason to believe any of these claims? If not, I think this will be a short discussion... of course the Earth's not hollow. End of.
