I like Shackled and Drawn. As far as I have heard his new album, I like most of the songs better than We Take Care Of Our Own. The chorus text of that one is a bit "meh" imho.

I was listening to Wish You Were Here, live, on the way to work. Something struck me, maybe something that others have noticed, but David Gilmour sounds a lot like John Wetton.

Clannad - I Will Find You in the original album version from Banba. Was at a Clannad gig the other night, which is why the video clip is one taken at their Berlin concert a few days more back. They were quite good even in the face of my probably a little inflated expectations.

    They still do gigs? Wow!

I'm actually secretly embarrassed at how much I like Enya, but I see she and Clannad have been a different item for the past three decades.

I'll be much more surprised if they ever really get around to making a studio album than about the fact that they (like so many veteran bands) are still touring. Even Pol's back in the fold now, although Eithne seems to have left for good after Fuaim, possibly because she (somewhat justifiedly) didn't feel like the older siblings were giving her enough time in the limelight. By a way of comeuppance, she took their producer with her

The album, or "Dancing with the Moonlit Knight"? I sometimes get the two confused, for obvious reasons. Anyway, it's a great album.

Birds And Buildings - Birds Flying Into Buildings from their sole album Bantam To Behemoth. Not quite as brilliant on a second listen as the comment of the video make it to be but still a decent effort at merging fusion/zheul and symphonic prog (maybe it'll grow on me).

    Rosanna, Toto.

(I never noticed before that they go into a G7 blues jam at the end).
