    Jupiter & Ganymede

    Hi Everyone!

this ia a test run and first sucessfull shot of a planet using the highly sensitive ST402me ccd from SBIG. i used an lpr filter from celestron and helped reduce overexposure and using highest speed ccd can give. a total of 160 frames taken used only 60 frames and processed with registax and ps7.

Can't beat the detail of ccd. May you catch a shadow of an occultation on Jupiter. Keep experimenting too.

Great 'test' shot George, we look forward to some even better shots once you have the system worked out. Very nice, clear skies.
