    The Summer Triangle

Here's the famous 'Summer Triangle' which consists of Deneb, the brightest star in Cygnus on the left, Vega, the brightest in Lyra at top, and Altair, a beautiful diamond in Aquila. I got this as it was rising over the cliffs out by the sea at home. You can easily see the dark dust lanes and star clusters.

Again, this is just as I saw it with my own eyes  what a sight ! No fancy processing - just plain and simple, I'm just trying to show it as I remember it. A single 5minute exposure, 18mm, ISO 800.

Hi Keith. I like your richfield views of the sky. Looking at your photos makes one feel like there sitting in a planetarium looking up in to the night. Thanks.

I would be thoroughly confused with that many visible stars, though I don't think I'd care at that point.

    Stunning view!
