It rained here all day on Saturday. The rain was sorely needed but it prevented me from seeing the many filaments previously seen earlier in the week reaching the Sun's leading limb and appearing thereafter as prominences. However, there was still plenty to be observed on Sunday. Here's a close-up photo that was taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel DSLR, 18-55mm Canon EF-S zoom lens, Coronado PST, and 30mm Celestron Ultima.
