Now i do not have access to many of the HB books. Heck i only own one conspiracy book: Chariots of the Gods by Erik Van Daniken. (A big pile of you know what)

How about this: Could one of you grab a spotlight or just go outside with all of the Moon HB books you can find. Stand them up so you can see the covers of all of the books. Shine the light on them and take a picture of the books and the shadows. Then scan it in and point out all of the non-parallel lines.

[poor] Example:

P.S. when replying, edit out the pic to save time for dial-up people.

Sorry, but that doesn't really work that way... the shadows in your photograph diverge because the light source is close to them, which is exactly what the HB's are saying about shadows in photos taken on the moon. What you need to do is go put your books on bumpy ground on a sunny day, and take a photo without a flash.

Besides I'm too horribly offended you own the movie cover version of Starship Troopers to take the time. j/k

What you need to do is take the HBer books and put them outside in a parking lot so the the sun is your light source. Then you'll be all set.

But it is the original version, just the movie cover. I would not dare get the movie adaptation.

That is what i would like for someone to do. Mine was just a example. I don't have any of the conspiracy books to do it.

Actually just put the HB books outside in a parking lot. Then go for a beer and forget about them.

Absolutely correct, but there is a lesson in what G99 did. The fuzzy edges of the shadows tell us that a large, nearby artificial light source can't produce the sharp-edged shadows that we see in sunlit photos (and the lunar photos). An artificial source bright enough to evenly light a large surface would be huge and the shadows would have, as in G99's photo, poorly defined edges because the light rays would be coming from a number of different directions.

It was taken in a dark room only lit by that light. (yah it was a small room with light wallaper, so some reflection from the lamp.) I turned off the flash.

I was going to suggest running them over.
Everything I need to know I learned through Googling.

Yeah, just leave 'em there in any sort of good condition, and somebody might pick them up and read them.

I wonder if they would make good toilet paper?
Hmm...All of the B.S. in them might clog up the septic systems. Nevermind....

Perhaps another photo with a stack of HB books under the engine bell of a Saturn V.

RE:Chariots of the Gods this makes a good travel book.

No, not alien built but still interesting.
He has put together a good collection of artifacts and places from around the world.
Perhaps the first time some people have heard of Nazca or Chichen Itza.
But he views these ancient people and their culture from a modern day/western cultural stance. For example Kulkulkan is a feathered serpent god in Mayan myth. He asked why would these people worship such a lowly creature?
Simple, the serpent was not considered lowly in their culture.
I have been to some mayan ruins: aliens- no.
remarkable culture- yes.

I agree. I have taken a Archaeology class on Incan and myan hisotory. They are a amazing poeple. Nuthing out of the ordinary about them.

I agree with you that Van Daniken looks into things from a western viewpoint. I just thought that you might of believed him. Sorry.

P.S. If you want good information from a respected archaeologist look up Michael Moseley. . He has done tons of work in that region.

No! Let's finish the sentence!

** has not only insulted Apollo, but made everyone forget about a great Stephen Sondheim musical.
