Explanations are not causes. Even if it were a logical explanation, does that mean it is justified by evidence? Logical means possible? Logical means, it both feels good and makes sense?
So, what is the criteria for an "logical" explanation? It is possible that the correct explanation is -said to be- "illogical"?
By the way, the video presented here is really good. I've seen it before, and it makes me wish that the unconvinced didn't see "unimpressive" footage first, since obviously your first impressions will unobjectively alter your opinions about other footage. It sounds stupid enough to be true, but it is.
Seen this before.
It's ice that breaks away from the shuttle during water dumps.
So how do you know it is H20? Also, ice has a tendency to melt slowly when subject to solar radiation - and it won't decelerate without something to resist its motion. Force=mass*acceleration.

Is that the best explanation people can come up with?Originally Posted by Grand_Lunar
