Do you think that humans sent the animals to an Earth-like planet so all the Earth animals will continue to evolve into sentinent beings that they can talk and civilized that all the animals will build the society?

I'm pretty sure we haven't sent more than a few monkeys & dogs into orbit.
If you mean "Do you think that IF humans..." then probably not. I imagine developing sentient intelligents similar to our own is a longshot at best.
Hided we have not done this yet, we don't have the technology yet to make it to other planets outside of our solar system (more less to Mars)Originally Posted by Hided

Which animals do you mean exactly?
Well, I was talking about that the evolution produced the animals that they can continue to evolve on an Earth-like planet. I'm just asking.
The Earth animals dudes. Our Earth animals that people might sent them to an Earth-like planet to turn the animals into sentient beings such as talking and civilzed animals that they build the society.
I think nature already tried that experiment. Many species lived for hundreds of millions of years in an area that was very similar to where humans first arose, yet no high-intelligence creatures resulted. The Earth's New World did not evolve high-intelligence species in parallel with the Old World. It must take not just opportunity and time but also some chance factors. We got lucky.
Basically, Hided, if we were to send a bunch of animals to another planet, chances are, they would NOT eventually form intelligence similar to us. There's always different theories on different forms of intelligence, so it depends on which one you go by.
Smart dolphins? That kind of fish who's name I cant remember off hand, but changes colors quite drastically & brightly?
Well, evolution produces Earth animals on an Earth-like planet. Our pets and the wild animals will continue to evolve after we sent them to an Earth-like planet. Earth-like planet do have intelligent life forms that evolves our earth animals.
To repeat Dragon Star, we have a hard enough time in just geting probes to other other planets within our solar system.
We have not even found another planet like Earth outside our system.
So, it's practically impossible we have done this. And it's not likely for us to do this in the near future.
It will take a LONG time before we even can manage to leave the solar system. And when we do, it will be more practical for us to send humans to that planet, rather than to let animals evolve to a sentient form millions of years in the future.
Well, it's like I watch Planet Of The Apes remake movie 2001. Apes evolve on another planet. Although, animals are not smart enough, but they have get more smart after they sent animals to an Earth-like planet with Earth-like conditions that they can become bigger, stronger, faster, prettier, and smarter.
Yeah, but those are (say it with me) fiction. That means they're not real. In reality, the technology does not now exist to send animals to other solar systems and will not for some time; what's more, there is no reason to assume that, should we do so, such animals would evolve human-like intelligence.

"I can't believe it doesn't work! I found it on the internet, man!"
Humans can have and build the technology to send animals to another planet that they can have human-like intelligence like in reality rather than fiction.
If we WERE to send animals to some nearby star in the HOPES that it might have an Earth-type planet, by the time they got there, the animals would be long dead & turned to dust.
While nice in Star Trek, we haven't actually invented warp core technology yet.
Eventually, sure. We'll figure that stuff out. But not today.Humans can have and build the technology to send animals to another planet that they can have human-like intelligence like in reality rather than fiction.
Very funny sky. I don't it's true. The animals would evolve the human-like intelligence on and Earth-like planet. Trust me guys.
And you base this on Planet of the Apes?
For all intents and purposes, it COULD happen. In millions of years, or perhaps even a few hundreds of thousands of years. But it's a BIG Longshot. And VERY highly unlikely.
What makes you think so, Hided? After all, even here on Earth (the most Earth-like planet there could possibly be!) of all of the species that have evolved in the past 3 billion years, only one has developed what you could really call intelligence.Originally Posted by Hided
Why would putting Earth animals on another planet change that trend, do you think?
Well, yeah so they can become humanoid animals or animal-like beings on an Earth-like planet.
How would that be possible? Can you explain your theory? Why do you think throwing lions & tigers & bears (oh my!) onto another planet would help them evolve any differently than they have here?
What are your credentials to inspire such "trust"? What topic have you been researching? Do you have a Ph.D? do you have a doctorate? A bachelor's? Or any college experience at all?Originally Posted by Hided
You ask for trust, but you need to give a reason to inspire it on a matter of evolution, biology, xenobiology, and interstellar travel.
Well, the animals will learn to speak English and build society that they're evolving after they were sent to another planet by humans.
Why not Chinese? 你是中国人吗?
It would be easier and faster to keep the animals here and breed them for intelligence.
Look, it would be best that humans can send the animals to another earth and then they can quickly evolve into sentient species on another earth. Okay?
I shouldn't ask... I shouldn't ask...
Why would it be best?
Doh!![]()
Because, that's just the way it is. And besides, animals will change into sentient beings. If you know what I mean. Well, all the animals of Earth will live on another planet from earth so they can evolve quickly into sentient beings such as talking and civilzed animals.Originally Posted by skyline5k

Hided, is this also related to that Sonic Hedgehog game? I have the feeling all your questions keep coming back to an "alternate earth" and intelligent animals that you found in that game. Sorry, but as much as you may wish it, it is a game, not reality.
I say there is an invisible elf in my backyard. How do you prove that I am wrong?
The Leif Ericson Cruiser
Says the man with an invisible elf...
I'm sure that's a joke, but Hided may not get it. The elf is an example of a bad kind of argument: Saying something, providing no evidence, then asking others to prove it wrong. There is no evidence for the elf, there never will be.Originally Posted by Musashi
Unfortunately, I see a lot of improbable and impossible suggestions and "prove me wrong" arguments without any evidence. I have to admit, though, that even the elf has trouble competing with this Sonic world in sheer improbability.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if the joke was appropraite for this thread, but it turned out to be too hard to resist.
I say that I have proven that there's no invisible elf in Van Rijn's backyard. How do you prove that I haven't?
