For a school programming project involving Simona (a very advanced full motion flight simulator that can also simulate other vehicles and pretty much anything really), we need to develop fun rides to enjoy visitors.
The ride is passive (no user controls), and should take no more than 2 minutes. You know, like the Star Wars bus ride in Disneyland .
Ideas: virtual rollercoaster, camera in a pinball ball, snooker ball, flying through the Grand Canyon...
If you have an idea for a superspectacular Virtual Ride, please post it here (soon)! WE'd need to make the artwork and programming ourselves, but some physics and motion filtering modules (for driving the simulator's motion system) are available.
I'm curious for your ideas! ONe of my ideas was having a camera during an airbag Mars descend and landing (like the rovers did), a low flying jet sim or an airshow display simulation.
