What places in our Solar system have we forgotten about ? Here's my list
Europa : I'd like to see a new mission here and I'm tired of reading old Voyager info and watching re-runs of films like 2001
The Earth's Moon : Yes its true the USA did great with Apollo, it was one of the greatest achievements of mankind but the last man there was in 1972, Russia landed robotic craft but has done nothing since the 70s. Today a lonley European craft continues the quest for lunar exploration
Neptune : Totally forgotten except for the Voyager fly, I don't see any upcoming mission
Asteroids : Also neglected PHAs, Trojans, Ceres, Vesta, NEAs ( I hope Dawn gets to fly )
Uranus : Only observed today by groundscopes and amateurs - See No3 Neptune
Sun : I know there are a number of Solar projects but we should have more missions to study our Sun. This giant ball of hydrogen helium and plasma is vital to life on Earth it should be intensively studied
Earth : I was saddened to hear Earth observation satellites may be cut back in NASA's latest budget
Mercury : Totally neglected expect for a Mariner fly-by but NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft is on its way and Japan and Europe might be doing a joint mission soon
Pluto : A forgotten world but NewHorizons is on its way to check out this planet/trans-Neptunian-object
KBOs or other minor-planets : Quaoar, Sedna, Xena...however we do have a spacecraft on the way to Pluto
