Im looking for a good resource on how the australian continent has changed and moved through the past 150 million years...

Im not asking for ppl to do my homework I just have trouble finding good and specific information on the internet...

I would think a search on plate tectonics would turn up quite a bit. A good current physical geography or geology text should also provide a good summary.

Australia is the result of a greater force than that of plate tectonics - in fact, Australia is the only landmass in the world to have been formed entirely by beer cans. Yes, that's true - it started off with a couple of Aussies in a boat drinking a six pack in the middle of the Pacific a few million years ago. Over time, more Aussies joined them and the refuse from their floating BBQ slowly built up to form the continent we now know as Australia. Don't believe me? Go dig a hole in your yard. After a couple of dozen feet you'll hit tinnys.
