Pictures of asteroid Itokawa. The Japanese Hayabusa probe has taken samples of this one. The web page is in Japanese so don't panic if your browser fails to render the text. Just scroll down to see the pictures. They are some of the sharpest I have ever seen from a deep space operation.
That comic is copyrighted, and may not be hotlinked even if hosted on a separate site. We have very strict copyright rules here; if you've not done so, please review the forum rules. I've replaced it with a link instead.Originally Posted by musasa
Do not post copyrighted material here. This is very serious. It is within the law to post small, relevant quotes, but not whole passages from newspapers, magazines, books, etc. If you do, the post will be deleted, and you will be warned. Do it twice and you will be banned. If you want to reference material somewhere else on the web, give a brief summary and link to the rest. People can go take a look at what you're talking about and then return to discuss it further.
I'm terribly sorry, I've just deleted the comic entirely.
You didn't have to do that. The best thing to do is just link to the source and let readers view it from there.Originally Posted by musasa

Feel free to put that link back in the first post (or I will if you'd like).
Quite a fun comic there However, it is so true when speaking about modern society's view on this might-be problem...
