Man Accused of Lobbing Urine Into Yards
CLIVE, Iowa (AP) - A Nebraska man has been arrested in central Iowa for allegedly delivering some unwanted Christmas gifts. Reno Tobler, 54, was arrested Thursday in Clive after police caught him lobbing urine bottles into backyards.
Tobler told police that it was a longtime hobby of his to deliver the bottles. Police searched his vehicle and found several other urine-filled bottles ready for delivery.
    I’m speechless.

Marlon Brando Gill, 23, was charged in a warrant with first-degree felony assault. In a probable cause statement, Blue Springs police said that the 24-year-old victim told an officer that Gill forced a cell phone partly down her throat early Friday.
Wow, he's still on the loose.

W.Va. Woman Locked Out of Car by Cat
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Locking yourself out of your car is bad enough, but Jeanna Stewart was even more embarrassed when the culprit was not her, but her cat.
She said she was mainly concerned about freeing Mork and the other cats, Minday and Alex.
    Why not Mearth?

He was Mork and Mindy's son.

In the fall of 1981 Mork and Mindy were married, and
honeymooned on Ork. Shortly thereafter Mork gave birth,
by ejecting a small egg from his navel. The egg grew
and grew and finally cracked open to reveal their 225
pound son, Mearth (played by Jonathan Winters).

'Devilish' Jeans a Hot Seller in Sweden
STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) - A punk-rock style, trendy tight fit and affordable price have made Cheap Monday jeans a hot commodity among young Swedes, but what has people talking is the brand's ungodly logo: a skull with a cross turned upside down on its forehead.
'Dead' Man Turns Up in Sweden
STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) - A Swedish man who was assumed dead after disappearing off the Norwegian coast two years ago stunned authorities this week when he showed up at a routine traffic stop in Sweden.
    Sweden is the theme today.

I've had a weird news headline rattling around my head for the past few weeks:

"Man sues self over twins mix-up."

I don't think it needs a story to go with it.

Oh, and Swift, if you're reading this, may I humbly suggest that you add a syllable to the last line of your limeric.

You are right, that is much better. But it is against forum rules to edit postings that would change the meaning or content.

Another strange story: Cat calls 911 to help owner. (thats what they think anyway).

Rosheisen said his cat, Tommy, must have hit the right buttons to call 911.

"I know it sounds kind of weird," Officer Patrick Daugherty said, unsuccessfully searching for some other explanation.

ah, that's an easy one - in many, if not all, communities, a random dialing sequence, or pushing multiple buttons multiple times the call will be directed to the local 911 answering center.

Of course, this does beg the question: why was the cat playing with the phone n the first place? Is this unusual in that household?

Yes true, not only that but sometimes when the phone is left of the hook for a certain time an emergency line comes in automatically.

My line used to just go dead, when I would take it off the hook. Now, it keeps this irritating beep, beep, etc... It's like "they" don't want you to take the phone off the hook.

Well i dont actually remember if an emergency line comes in or the operator. But i do remember that when one of my phones were left off the hook it would start with that annoying beeping noise and then some line would come in automatically and someone would ask if you need assistance.

JERUSALEM - Sharon Tendler met Cindy 15 years ago. She said it was love at first sight. This week she finally took the plunge and proposed. The lucky "guy" plunged right back.
In a modest ceremony at Dolphin Reef in the southern Israeli port of Eilat, Tendler, a 41-year-old British citizen, apparently became the world's first person to "marry" a dolphin.

Building Owners Find Hidden Second Story
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A couple touring an old office building they hoped to buy made a shocking find _ the structure's second story had been sealed off from the world for some 70 years.

Cat OK After Traveling 70 Miles Under SUV
VOORHEES, N.J. (AP) - Curiosity didn't kill one cat on a wild ride on the New Jersey Turnpike. The kitten, now known, for obvious reasons, as Miracle, hitchhiked a ride on the underbelly of a sport utility vehicle just before Christmas.

The gray and white feline traveled some 70 miles under the vehicle as it whizzed along the Turnpike on Dec. 23.

"I'm just amazed that the cat didn't fall off or get blown off," Karen Dixon-Aquino, director of the Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees, told the Courier-Post of Cherry Hill for Tuesday's newspapers.

The association is caring for the furry hitchhiker and plans to put him up for adoption.
