I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. It was on the (usually)Monthly Dilbert Newsletter (love the comic and the very short lived t.v. show)


A Sign over the office drinking fountain:


"Do not pour anything into the
fountain. It blocks the water
filter and reduces the water
pressure."

It was on the Engineering floor and -- God help us -- we make
helicopters.

I think a few people here may not have heard of the companion to read-only memory, the write-only memory chip.

This site has photos of the two page ad taken out for it way back in 1972. (The ad's the best bit.)
