    I need some math!

Math was one of those subjects I hated in school. Even through college, I did barely enough to get by in all the math classes I've taken. However, at this point in my life, I find that I'm reaching this boundary in my learning experience, where my shoddy grasp of mathematics is hampering progress.

That said, I'd like to ask if any of you have any math websites, forums, etc. that you can share with me that might provide me a refresher course in the lower level math like entry college level algebra, geometry, and so on. Particularly I need some pretty in depth explanations and material on matrices, vectors, pre-calculus graphing. The majority of the information I've been able to find by using search engines has been archaic and assumes the reader is familiar with certain concepts that I am not.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Math Resources by Subject
These collections represent only what we believe are the best Internet resources for each topic. For more exhaustive lists, or to conduct searches for materials that match your specific needs, try the Math Forum's Internet Mathematics Library and its Math Topics page.
I surfed around the website, it is huge. I found the best examples were under the links labeled Classroom Material for Teachers and Students for a specific area of study. There are also links to math forums and free online mentoring. This is a very nice website.

feel free to ask questions, too... there are more than a few uber literate math types on a forum such as this.

just don't ask anyone to solve your homework problems should you take a class as a refresher. people may be... resistant.

More math??? Ban them who say more! Hail less!!!

I'm sorry, I just had the heaviest math exam in recorded history .

I think I passed it, but it wasn't pretty. I'll only be confident when I get the grade.

Systems theory II (Ba/Msc course, depending on your curriculum). In fact I understood the subject far better than Systems Theory I. I passed that exam without really fully knowing what I was doing.
