New career paths for Percy and company?

...............now that we seem to be committed to a beefed-up Apollo C/SM based Crew Return Vehicle, a methane-fuelled LM on growth hormone and Earth-Orbit Rendezvous all riding on Shuttle-derived boosters, how will Percy and his esteemed crowd of 'alternative thinkers' explain away the old Van Allen arguments,and all the rest of it? Do you think they realise that their hobby horse is coming to the end of its shelf life as a cash cow, and if so, how will they respond? From my perspective here in the UK, involved in space education for teachers and students, I've found that the incidence of HB belief has passed its zenith, and seems to be nose-diving, especially as the Vision for Space Exploration has been getting more and more media attention. Time to crack open the champagne yet, or will the Aulis empire strike back?

Won't dent them a bit. The arguments will be:
1. Of course we can do it now, but we couldn't then!
2. It's all a fake, they realised that we were close to the truth so they started these fake missions to make it seems like Apollo was real.

#2 will be more likely to be used by Hoagland, after all, if it is real then they won't be hiding Aliens anymore.

IIRC, Hoagland does think Apollo was real. I've heard that he has a good moon hoax debunking page. It's just he also thinks we found alien structures on the moon.
