We have rules and they are pretty simple to follow. One of them is that embedded images should not be over 100k in physical size. So large embedded images tend to be changed into links.

The first time is not usually given an infraction, as it can be accidental; but preearth has, multiple times, changed a link back into a url; re-embedding a large image. That's earned two infractions, and gives some time off.

aastrotech has been permanently banned for continued lack of respect for this forum and its rules, moderators, and members. Recent cases of Rule 2 violations include this post and this post. Lest some think that we are being harsh or vindictive towards him, I'd like to point out that prior to this final infraction, he had previously been cited for two first offenses, three second offenses, and a third offense. If anything, we bent over backwards to give him additional chances.
