    Hey all
PMT (pre-movie tension) has set in and I am desperate for opinions. What do you think: will this, the final instalment of the Star Wars saga be a triumph or a flop?

It will be a commercial success no matter what.

I think the Star Wars audience has been looking for a dark moody film from this series and was disappointed when "Revenge of the Jedi" by Ridley Scott got turned into "Return of the Jedi & the Teddy Bears' Picnic". I am expecting that THIS will be their movie. Don't bring your five year old.

BTW, I heard there would be some special effects. See if you can spot them.

My father used to be a toy salesman when the first three movies came out and he got a Revenge of the Jedi poster. I still have it. I also still have all of the action figures in a box somewhere, but they were all played with.

antoniseb, I heard that one of the 'assignments' given Anakin/Vader is to kill all the children training to be Jedi, which was supposedly why the higher warning rating. If that's true then please DON'T take your kids till you've seen it first. I bet it plays in connection or correlation with the killing of those creatures that held his mother.

I was hoping to see it on my birthday, but will have to wait the next day so my son (grown) can see it with my wife and I. Like Awesome4000, I too can hardly wait.

Apparently, revenge is copacetic for the Sith but not for the Jedi.

There are going to be kids being killed in this movie, so don't go see it if you'rre against that sort of thing

Well, patience everybody we all know it's gonna blow us all away (interpret that as you will) and we know it's gonna have some violence...OTOH, it certainly has capped up the prequel trilogy nicely, as most reviews have said. My one advice is, get your tickets fast! See it yourselves (or with your spouse), and if you deem it appropriate, and you have a talk about it with their kids and they understand why the movie has a PG-13 rating, then you can take the little tykes to see it the next weekend, when crowds have died down. That's just my two cents, and I'm seventeen but I too am anxious about seeing Episode III.
