Since the posting of an article about the evidence for simple life forms beneath the surface of Mars (Nasa Claims Evidence of Present Mars Life) there have been a few interesting posts about the affect this would have on the way we think about ourselves and universe. Solitonmanny (the new guy :P) gave me the idea of starting a new thread about this very topic...so here it is.
What do you think would happen on Earth if we find life elsewhere in our solar system? Pressumably it would be of the single celled organism variety, however this would no doubt still change many people's outlook on life. Your thoughts...?
