While observing the Sun with my Coronado PST and a Vixen 8-24mm zoom eyepiece and a 7mm Nagler T6 early Wednesday afternoon, I couldn't help but notice the extremely long filament that extended for about one third of a solar diameter.

Quite a few prominences were visible as well.
