Many people say they would love to travel in a spaceship. But we have been riding on a spaceship for years. Our spaceship at present is of round design and is called "Earth." Of course we are not privileged to steer this particular ship anywhere we wish. But the truth is that IF WE UNDERSTOOD THE TECHNOLOGY OF THIS SPACESHIP CALLED "EARTH", IT WOULD BE OF GREAT ASSISTANCE IN BUILDING AN ARTIFICIAL ONE.
Spaceship Earth turns on its axis once every 24 hours. Since our planet at the equator is about 24,000 miles around, this means those of us who live on or near the equator are spinning at about 1,000 miles per hour. The speed is slightly less for those who live farther away from the equator. The speed of sound at sea level is only about 750 miles per hour, so Earth's population has been nonchalantly travelling faster than the speed of sound without batting an eyelash! We have all of us---everyone of us---cracked the "sonic barrier".
But that is not all. Our spaceship cruises around the sun once a year in a long loop many millions of miles in length at an approximate speed of over 66,000 miles per hour. That is more than 10 times faster than our fastest rockets! That is really something, is it not? BUT NOW HANG ON TO YOUR HATS! Some astronomy books tell us that the part of the galaxy in which our spacecraft Earth travels is itself moving through space at some 170 miles per second. That is about 612,000 miles per hour --- MORE THAN HALF A MILLION MILES PER HOUR! If we could steer our spaceship and point it toward Venus, at that rate we could reach Venus in about 42 hours.
We know that storms and winds blowing at say 150 miles per hour can damage a city. So how come Earth's population can ride on this natural spacecraft at over 600,000 miles per hour without being totally destroyed? And why isn't Earth blown to bits? You may have guessed it. Our "atmosphere" travels along with our ship. OUR SPACESHIP CARRIES ITS OWN PROTECTIVE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD AND ATMOSPHERE ALONG WITH IT.
If you ponder the abovementioned, you can easily see that the construction of truly effective artificial spacecraft can best be achieved when we use spaceship Earth, and other heavenly spaceship bodies, as models for their construction. For example, if our artificial craft carries its own electromagnetic field, in imitation of our planet, then it can survive at fantastic speeds even if outer space is filled with dangerous cosmic debris and violent cosmic rays which the unprotected human body cannot withstand.
Future spacecraft need to be powered by electromagnetic energy (Resonating Electromagnetic Force), the same as planet Earth and all other celestial bodies, if they are to at least attain the sort of speeds already attained by spaceship Earth (about 66,000 miles per hour) and our part of this galaxy (about 612,000 miles per hour).
