    evrything around us has some kind of symmetry, should universe have symmetry?

    Considering that we dont really have much of a picture of the universe, that we don't see a fundamental symmetry yet is not surprising. Most perceptions of symmetry are anthropic, i think. I t may be staring right at us, waiting to be identified.

    The two tenets of the cosmological principle are that the universe is, on average, homogeneous and isotropic.

    Why would we need to find symetry in the universe. If the universe is infinite there would be symetrical and asymetrical at the same time.
