Best Book to Buy, Can you Advise me please

I would like to buy a book about our universe, I don;t need a beginners guide, but say an Intermediate guide, all your advise is most welcomed.

Are you looking for a science book about the Universe, or more of an amateur astronomy book?

For an intermediate read about space and our current understanding of the Universe, try Stephen Hawking's Universe in a Nutshell.

For an astronomy book, I absolutely recommend Nightwatch, by Terence Dickinson.
