Cool. As you get farther down in the hierarchy, the links point to current webpages, so you have to go back and re-enter them, I think. Anyway, I'm going to play around and see if we can resurrect P*p*r (just kidding!)

as I have said already in BAD bad
I plan on setting up a site at
http://web.pdx.edu/~b5mg/
and years ago I set up a page at UofO
http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~roblosey/
well thats not the site {look for archaeo and the Archives}
anyway the moreALL of this tail was
the site changed and i never could access MY page
at U/o Anthro archive maybe its archived ELSEWHERE?
that would be neat.. if i could worm around U/O

Just glad to be back to being ME.. ra do...

Anomalistic/Sidereal = 1 + 3/4 * m^2 + 225/32 * m^3 + ...
Nodical/Sidereal = 1 - 3/4 * m^2 + 9/32 * m^3 + ...

Distance of Moon to Earth: Rme = 3.911 x 108 m
[I am taking this as center-center, not surface-surface]
Orbital circumference of the Moon: Cme = 2*Rme*pi = 2.457 x 109 m
Orbital period of Moon: T = 27.32166 days
Radius of Moon: Rm = 1.738 x 106 m
Mass of Moon: Mm = 7.352 x 1022 kg
Radius of Earth: Re = 6.36627 x 106 m
Mass of Earth: Me = 5.976 x 1024 kg
G = 6.6726 x 10-11 m3 kg-1 s-2
************************************************** *********
1) Linear speed of the Moon: v = Cme/T = 8.993 x 107 m/day
2) Moving away from Earth against gravity, how fast "V" was it going
when it hit?
Hint: V=v*e2
[I have to admit I don't follow you here. But, assuming that by "e"
you mean the base of natural logarithms, and "V" is the initial speed
and "v" is the v we get in 1)...]
V = 6.645 x 108 m/day
3) If the Earth and Moon touched their center to center distance D
would be what?
Bad Astronomy Bulletin Board - View Topic (p7 of 18)
D = Rm + Re = 8.104 x 106 m
4) [I don't know what you're looking for. The acceleration due to
gravity on the Earth, or on the Moon? Or are you looking for the force
of gravity between the Earth and the Moon if they were touching?]
5) using 9.8 m/s2 = g
V = 6.645 x 108 m/day = 7,690 m/s
A = V2/2g = 3.016 x 106 m

I watched the NOVA TV program called DIRTY BOMB on OPB/PBS
----------------------------------------------------------
i very much disagree with "Quality" Tv: will date/TIME 2day
==============Enviros?==British==firm============= ========#
24-26 min: text 74,000 GBg audio "74,000 GigaBeckReals{sp?"
::::::handfull of:::::::CS 137 ?:::1/2Lv==30-35y?:::::::::
160 msv/yr and 29-30: a believabale "Potasium 40" segment`
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????
that time slot " Andrew Karam " (Universsity of Rochester)
has two flash frame inserts over ("natural sorces") & B4
"our body" naration folowing that that overdubed segment
//Tilt\\ in other Words {to me} its just made for TV
"Quality" stuff.. but i site it here NOW anyway. Back to Uk
well? thats not today?
TODAY THE INTELlab was closed for update
so i wound up at 60 instead of at 55
the TECKTRONICs LAB .. took a bldg search
logged on .. that worked tried to do Maple & Matlab
MATH stuff.. no path so tried IE
it balked try 1 and a little asr-1 popup came on for about 1 1/2 sec
LOWER RIGHT ====> and then down see links elsewhere/WHEN?

allright? 7:55 these (General as ) {Lunars} will at least in part
come from here{ linuxlab} (MAYBE) and not in color as color
does not select from this terminal? {i havent a clue}
9:32 Unext Lab .. so the floppies {Y's} dont work here eithor
luckely I already uploaded today to
http://web.pdx.edu/~pdx00782

yeah?YEAH

RED 9/29
http://www.education.ti.com/derive
download a free copy of it and then send me my missing files?

10/2 Allright "COLOR" from the DOS? Windows Intel lab set go for "AGAINST"
so lunar gets no more color {Fall term} because its input on this liinux BOX
and for some reason clicking the color button does not work
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
there are other things that DO NOT work from this DEBIAN linux
for example i have to log in twice, and cannot hit enter at the end
but must Mouse click the login box {etc etc
=============================================
so NO i dont care for this .. I use it anyway 7:29
as theres a phone over on the wall with an outside phone line
the phone number is area code 503 then
its 725 8374 and i will answere that at 7:47 am on a day
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
that i'll be here at that time .. like today for example ...
but i leave here at 7:55 so it isnt a BIG WINDOW.
other than this the schedule for fall.. is FALLing into place
?????????????????
now back to the CON
