Help me debunk the CHEMTRAILS belivers...!!!!

How "they started spraying early this morning"and"weather control" bla,bla,bla...

The thing is,Im not realy sure what they mean...are we talking normal airplan traces in the sky?? 8-[

Yes. The Chemtrails believers think that there's some sort of chemical being released by some/all planes in their contrails. Depending on how gaga they are, the cause is to either increase the planet's albedo and so "do things" to the weather, or that the chemicals are to poison us/contain mind control agents/do multifarious other "bad things".

It's all completely rubbish conspiracy theory nonsense, obviously, but you can't dissuade them because the conspiracy requires everyone who is in a position to notice the lack of big tanks of mind-control chemicals on planes is obviously part of the conspiracy and not to be trusted.

edit - as with all good woowoo theories, there is a grain of truth in there, though. Your bog-standard water-vapour and a little aviation fuel contrail does reflect more sunlight into space, and scientists have measured a quanitifiable decrease in the amount of light reaching the surface over the last fifty years as the number of flights (and particulate pollution in general) have increased. It has a net cooling effect on our atmosphere, and so has actually been unwittingly counteracting some of the global warming effects of CO2 pollution. Do a search for "global dimming" if you want to know more.

Chemtrails are nothing new.

For example here's how we really defeated those nasty Germans in WWII.

We obviously used chemtrails to bring the Nazis to their knees. Never mind all those bombs we dropped...

I usually just point out that until they have a sample of a so called chemtrail analysed their opinion isn't worth bunk.

We have plenty of contrails over head here, I live almost under the main flightpath from Auckland-Wellington and Auckland-Christchurch. Some last for only a few seconds, some last all day, it all depends on the conditions. The Chemtrail believes (CBs?) work on circular logic on this one. Chemtrails are contrails that last more then a few minutes. That some contrails last more then a few minutes means that they are Chemtrails.

Generally speaking, the large trails are normal jet aircraft water condensation trails (contrails). Some of the smaller streaks in the sky could be caused by small aircraft seeding clouds to produce rain. In the US, local state governments usually regulate the cloud-seeding industry.

I think this panic among some people started back in the ‘70s or ‘80s when a newspaper broke the story about the US military spraying San Francisco with some minor bacteria during a cold-war chemical warfare test of the 1950s or '60s. Supposedly, a few people in San Francisco got sick from the bacteria and a couple of them died.

I have an easy answer to that one, if the chemtrails are releasing chemicals to keep up docile and under control then why do we still have crimes and why do people still disagree with the government, isn't that what the chemicals supposed to stop?

I mean, is there anyone who honestly can't see that it's been photoshoped? If the people you're arguing with can't see that for themselves, then go to walmart and buy them a $20 pair of binoculars. If they like looking up so much, they should at least be able to see what it is their looking at. Through binoculars, it's pretty obvious that contrails are comming out of the aircraft's engines, and not from sprayers on the wings.

That is actually just a Boeing E-6 TACAMO airplane dumping fuel.

No photoshopping necessary. It has probably been cleaned up a bit, but the chemtrails are just jet fuel coming from the vents.

This is a version of the 707. It had to have it's fuel dump vents moved inboard due to the electronics packages and antenna pods on the ends of the wings.

Well, if you're going to spray chemicals on people, you sure as heck don't do it from above 30,000 feet. It's completely ineffective; the stuff is dispersed to negligible levels - what's not decomposed/deactivated by solar UV on those nice clear days when most of those pictures are taken.

So, at least as far as the poison or mind control or whatever application "theory" goes, their proposed mechanism is quite ineffective - a huge hole in the chemtrail conspiracy nonsense. But then again, this particular brand of woo-wooness is pretty much all hole.

Why photoshop chemtrails that look exactly like a fuel dump coming from exactly where a fuel dump would originate? Why use a photo of such a rare plane that is so easily identified? You would only have photoshopped yourself into a corner to be laughed at.

I believe it is a still from a videotape. It looks exactly like a fuel dump, and there is nothing unusual about that so I go with Ockham's razor. Here is the original image, I believe.

The normal commercial jet contrails are NOT “chemtrails”, but there are small planes that regularly release silver iodide to try to produce more rainfall in dry states. You can find the equipment spraying systems available for sale on the internet. Several Western states have laws regulating this procedure. Weather modification is quite common today. But I think “chemtrails” for “mind control” is a silly woo woo theory. I hope you aren’t allergic to silver iodide.
