    Sorry if I offended Anyone

I have the utmost respect for all of our British friends. Honestly, I didn't mean to be political at all. ops:

No probs, to be honest I wasn't offended but some who hold another point of view might have been.

It's our Royal Family and we'll keep them if we want to. I think it's quite funny.

Is this perfect or imperfect contrition Krevel?

(You have to be a Catholic, which I'm not, to understand that.)

I'm not all all offended, I entirely agreed with every word you said.

BUT, we have to bow to an even greater authority than the British royals, that is the esteemed Bad Astronomer himself, and stick to the rules.

    Let's all do that.

Interestingly enough, I had a dream I was at the coronation of Wills as King. Don't know why? I wanted that dream about the one from Neighbours.

A last little word on that subject: I do think it was about culture, not politics, once royals donīt take part in political processes. That said, I shut my mouth. 8-[

No I don't, is there a character named Krevel in there? Actually, it's a nickname from college that has hung on for too long. It's sort of a *******ization of my first name: Kevin.

As far as the Catholic thing..... don't think I'm gonna go there!!

Seriously, I was thinking of the celebrity aspect in my original post. Mea culpa for neglecting the political aspect. Once again, many pardons!!

End of subject. Lets let this die out now.

As a Briton, I was not in the least offended by your post, Krevel. And I doubt a sizeable proportion of my compatriots who read it were, either.

But that's the point, I was, I don't want any old furriner coming along insulting our royals! that's our job, same as they would't want a furriner insulting their countries institutions.

lol now that you folks have kissed and made up, why don't we all sing together

England swings like a pendulum do
Bobbies on bicycles, two by two
Westminster Abbey, the tower of Big Ben
The rosy red cheeks of the little children

Now, if you huff and puff and you fin'lly save enough
Money up to take your family on a trip across the sea
Take a tip before you take your trip
Let me tell you where to go
    Go to England, oh
