    Yes, I have in fact been a lurker here for over two years, checking up daily on the various woo-woos (moon hoax, Nancy) and often reading up on an interesting subject. I've learned very much here, about Astronomy and then again about the crackpots. My goodness, there certainly are alot of very strange people running around. My knowledge of conspiracy theorists had hitherto been restricted to "who shot Kennedy?". That, I am sorry to say, has now changed.

    Well, I've registered, and have already posted a few comments. But don't worry: I believe we landed on the moon, I accept the fact that "warp speed" is a fantasy, I don't believe that our solar system ever has been or ever will be visited by alien life forms. That's the good part. The bad part is that I have not studied physics. This may lead to my occasionally placing seemingly stupid questions, so please bear with me.

    I myself studied humanities and work in publishing. I'm an expatriot Bostonian living in Germany. Although I'm not a religious person, this fall I did resign myself to the notion that there may indeed be a god: Go Red Sox!! :wink: :wink:
